Hi, my name is…

Drugs shot up, my lids fall down.

My scent starts to fail as voices disappear all around.

This ground isn’t real. These thoughts are not mine.

It’s all a damn illusion; i’m even going backwards in time.

Last heartbreak, last love, last lost, last death.

First crush, first car, first fight, first breath.

Something seems amiss; i recognize none of these faces.

These senarios are lies, i was never in these cases.

or am i going mad, because i recognize these places.

From my house and the hopstial bed to the lampshades and my untied laces.

Vision’s coming back and so is my smell.

My hearing’s turning up and it sounds like hell.

My skull ripped open; sterilized.

i look at the doctors; they’re petrified.

I’m back to reality, but at what cost?

They said they removed a tumor, although, that wasn’t the only thing i lost.

Two days later, i recovered but it didn’t feel the same.

wait, one second. i can’t remember my name.

Anyone else see The Avengers? Just like in Iron Man 1 and 2, Tony Stark has the coolest interactive 3-D displays. He can pull a digital wire frame out of a set of blueprints or wrap an exoskeleton around his arm. Those moments aren’t just sci-fi fun; they’re full of visionary ideas to explore and manipulate objects in 3-D space. Except for one thing: How would Stark feel all of these objects to move them around? In reality, he’d be touching nothing but air. Jinha Lee, from the Tangible Media Group of the MIT Media Lab, in collaboration with Rehmi Post, has been playing with the idea of manipulating real floating objects in 3-D space to create a truly tactile user interface. His prototype is called the ZeroN, and it will drop your jaw when you see it working for the first (and second and third) time.
